"preferences" vs racism in profile filters... where is the actual line

honest q n im genuinely curious about other ppls thinking. on a lot of profiles u see things like "white couples only please" or "no asian men" etc. ppl always frame it as just a "preference". im a black guy partnered w a white woman, uk based. it bothers me but i also dont want to be unreasonable... ppl are allowed attractions. but a blanket racial exclusion in a profile feels different from an individual attraction in the moment. where do u all draw the line. is it the bluntness. is it the publicness of it. is there a way to talk about preferences that isnt just dressed up exclusion...
