queer couple in mostly hetero spaces, how do you cope

me and my wife are both queer, shes bi im pan, weve been ENM for 5 years. we live in dublin and the LS scene here is small enough that you basically have to engage with the mainstream couples scene if you want any community. and god its tiring. the constant low key biphobia, the assumption that im just doing it for her, the unicorn hunters thinking were a "queer power couple" they can collect. weve made a couple of really good friends but its like 1 in 20 meets that actually lands. how do other queer couples cope with this. do you just stop going to mainstream events. do you build your own little crew. do you give up and stay home with wine and ao3
