relocating to brighton for the scene, we actually did it

just want to share and ask if anyone else has done this... we lived in reading for years, decent jobs, comfortable life, but the LS scene there was basically nothing and we kept driving to london and brighton. six months ago we both got remote jobs sorted and made the move to brighton specifically because the LS scene here is incredible. some friends thought we were mad relocating for that. anyone else made a relocation decision where the scene was a major factor and how did it land
