renting a beach house in cornwall with 5 couples is this too many theres a group of us all in our late 30s early 40s whove been meeting at the same club in bristol for ages and someone floated the idea of all going in on a 6 bedroom beach house near polzeath for a week in september. thats 10 of us. ive done weekends with 3 other couples and that felt manageable but five couples feels like a lot of dynamics to keep track of. some pairings have already happened, some havent, some people fancy each other openly and others not so much. my worry is it turns into high school drama if someones feeling left out or someones partner is the popular one. or worse, the place is gorgeous and we end up just being on holiday and nobody plays because everyones too aware of everyone else. is six couples or five couples just the sweet spot where it stops working. anyone done a proper big group beach house thing
