sex with each other dries up the week after, normal??

we always have brilliant sex during and right after a play night, like literally home and at it. but then the WHOLE following week we barely touch each other. i'm talking zero, no kissing beyond a peck, no initiating. by the time the next weekend rolls around it feels like we're reconnecting from scratch. is this normal? am i overthinking it? we've been at this for about 8 months and the pattern is so consistent. neither of us is upset but it does feel like a weird dip. anyone else have this rhythm? what does yours look like
