small irish town and the LS, were driving 90 min everywhere

me and the missus are in a town of about 4k people in the midlands of ireland, into LS properly for two years now. literally every meet, every club, every event is 90 minutes plus in the car... dublin is 90, galway is closer to two hours, limerick about the same. we've done it dozens of times and the drive home at 2am is killing us slowly. anyone else in this boat and how do you cope, or did you eventually move closer to something
