solo travel to a lifestyle resort... worth it for a single woman or weird vibes

considering booking a week at hedonism or desire by myself, i'm a solo woman from melbourne late thirties been in the LS scene for about four years locally. mostly play with couples i know well so the idea of throwing myself into a full resort week with strangers is exciting and slightly terrifying. friends who've gone as couples say it's amazing but i can't find many solo women accounts. is it a great solo trip or do you end up feeling like the spare wheel at someone else's holiday... budgets are tight ish so want to make sure it's worth it before i commit...
