tests came back neg but i clearly have symptoms... what do i do now

so this is doing my head in. i've had a low grade burning sensation when i pee and a weird discharge for nearly 3 weeks now. went for a full panel last week in cape town, swabs and urine, everything came back negative. but the symptoms are still there and i'm not imagining them, dh has noticed too. before this i had a meet about 4 weeks ago, condoms used, but with some oral involved on both sides. i feel like something is clearly wrong and i don't know what to do next. do i go back and ask for different tests. do i wait. do i go private. has anyone been in this position where the nhs/standard panel says clear but your body is screaming otherwise. it's the not knowing that's eating me alive, i could deal with a diagnosis but this limbo is awful
