the after-play talk is so different depending on same vs separate... how do you process each

M42 / F39, ls about 4 years, weve done a pretty even mix of same and separate over the years and i finally noticed something that took me way too long to see. the post-play conversation is completely different depending on which one we did. like genuinely a different kind of intimacy in the car ride home or the next morning over coffee. after same room nights we kind of skip the storytelling because we both already saw it. the talk is more about feelings, what was hot, what was weird, did you see when X happened. its emotional and reflective but kind of compact. after separate room nights its like a 2 hour download. she tells me what happened in her room minute by minute, i tell her mine, we go through the whole thing in detail. its like watching the same movie from two different cameras and editing them together. its honestly some of the best conversations we have all month. is this a known thing where separate room actually deepens the post-play talk because it requires storytelling whereas same room shortcuts it. and is one mode "better" for the relationship long term or are they just different. has anyone optimized for the after-talk by choosing the format on purpose
