the "all-inclusive" pricing at Desire is misleading — what are you actually spending per week

ok this isnt a complaint exactly, were going back, but i want a real conversation about what Desire actually costs once you factor in everything bc "all-inclusive" is doing some heavy lifting. base package for our week last year (RM, 7 nights, club ocean view) was about $3800 for the two of us. by the end we'd spent another $1900 on stuff. like, what. heres what i remember adding up — premium drinks (the "free" liquor is fine but the actual stuff you want is upcharge), the spa (the included options are limited, anything good is full price), the photographer (you don't need it but the album is good and they're aggressive), the cabana day (you basically need one to get a guaranteed spot in peak season), the late-checkout, the "VIP" experience for a play night, the airport transfer they recommended which was way more than uber, and shopping at the on-site stuff. oh and tipping which we did generously bc the staff is genuinely incredible but adds up. im not saying its a scam. i love Desire and i think the staff/service justifies a lot of it. but i wanna know if other ppl have the same real-cost number bc when i tell friends "Desire was $3800" im technically not lying but im also not telling them the whole truth. whats your actual all-in number for a Desire week. and what would you skip next time if you could redo.
