every couple-seeking-bi-male profile i read in NZ describes this fantasy of a chiseled, dumb, hung, eternally up-for-it bisexual adonis who shows up, services everyone, leaves no trace. then i meet bi men in the LS and they're... normal blokes? plumbers, teachers, dads, with feelings and bedtimes and a job at 7am. why is the fantasy so divorced from the reality and is this part of why actual bi guys struggle to get bookings in the scene, cos couples are casting for a character that doesnt exist
