the doormat wife couple... do we play or walk away... so we met a couple in southampton, lovely on paper, both consented enthusiastically in writing beforehand. but in person... she defers to him for EVERYTHING. what she wants to drink, what music to put on, whether shes ready, what she wants to do with us. every answer is "whatever he wants" or "hes the boss". like even when we asked her direct one on one questions, eyes flicked to him first. she SEEMED happy enough but the dynamic was so unbalanced it gave us pause. is "doormat wife energy" automatically a no-go even with written consent? or is this just a relationship style that isnt mine to judge
