the "experienced couple mentoring newbies" pattern... is this just predator behaviour...

were brand new to all this, been on the apps about 6 weeks. weve had THREE different couples message us essentially offering to "mentor" us, "show us the ropes", "ease us in gently because we know how overwhelming it is"... all three were significantly older, all three pushed for meeting privately at theirs rather than a club or bar. one literally said "we prefer to break in new couples in private so theres no pressure". me and my partner felt the ick instantly. is "mentoring newbies" a known predator pattern or are some couples genuinely just kind? we are in brisbane and dont know whats normal here yet...
