the "founder couple" of our local group nights — proper community legends

theres a couple in our area who started running monthly house parties about 8 years ago. they're in their late 40s, both work normal jobs, but they basically built the entire LS scene where we live. everyone knows them, everyone respects them, they've introduced more people to eachother than tinder. now they're thinking of stopping coz lifes busy and im genuinely devastated. is there a founder couple in ur area too? do u think the scene survives when the founders step back
