the friend couple that changed our lives... we met them at a meet n greet in leeds in 2019 and they were the first couple that didnt feel like a sales pitch. she made my wife laugh until she cried about something stupid in the bathrooms, he and i talked for an hour about football and never once tried to suss us out. they took us under their wing properly. taught us how to vet, how to say no kindly, how to leave a club without weirdness. we still go on holidays together, vanilla and otherwise, six years on. i dont think we'd be in this still without them. some of you out there are someone elses version of them and you might not know it... so just... thank you to the mentors who dont know they're mentoring
