the holiday-abroad-anonymous-couple bit, do you go full pseudonym or what?

we've started doing this thing where every holiday abroad we're a totally different couple, different names, different jobs, different cities we're from, the whole nine. did it in barcelona, lisbon and last winter in cape town. its been mental, like we've been "mark and jenna from bristol" who own a bakery, "tom and rachel from cork" who work in advertising etc... met other couples while in character and the play was unreal. question, do you lot go full pseudonym on holidays or is that overkill? we're wondering if we're taking it too seriously or if everyone does this and we're late to the party...
