the hug the second the door closes behind us back home... idk if other ppl do this but every single time we get home from a meet or a club night, the second the door closes behind us in our hallway, we just... hug. like a proper long hug. coats still on, shoes still on. silent. could be 30 sec could be 5 min. then one of us pulls back and we're back to normal making toast or running a bath or whatever. its not been discussed or agreed on, just happens. i think its our way of saying we're home and we're still us and thats what matters. anyone else got that doorway hug?
