the meet where chemistry was off and we still played... biggest regret

gonna be honest cos i think its important to talk about. couple of months back we met a couple in birmingham, drinks were ok not great, no real spark for either of us but we'd driven 90 min and got a hotel and felt obligated... so we went up. it was the worst sex either of us has had in the lifestyle and the wife had a proper cry in the car on the way home. ive felt like garbage about it since. how do you lot bail when the chemistry isnt there without feeling like its all been a waste of time and money? i wish we had a polite exit script we could have used at the bar but in the moment we both froze and just went along with it
