the once-a-year deep dive convo where everything comes out... is this a good idea or a bad one

wifes proposed we do a once a year proper deep dive convo about LS. like everything thats been on our minds, anything we havent said, full reset. shes thinking new years eve afternoon. and im torn cos on one hand i love that shes engaged enough to want this but on the other hand it sounds like a recipe for one massive overwhelming convo where stuff that shouldve been said in march comes out in december n it all blows up. is annual the right cadence? quarterly we already do, this would be on top of that. has anyone done a "state of the union" style thing once a year n what came of it? worth it or just a way to manufacture drama...
