the secret club room... does every venue have one and is yours the same legend?

theres this club in the north of england and everyones heard about "the back room". its not on any tour, you only get told about it after youve been a regular for a year, and even then only by another regular. our friends took us last month and... yeah its just a quieter room with comfy sofas and softer lights, no big drama, but the way its talked about you'd think it was Narnia. every city's scene has one i think. is this an actual phenomenon or are we all just romanticising the back rooms?
