the time we DID quit, and dont regret it...

flip side post because i think we need more of these. we were in for nearly 3 years, had a great run, made friends, had fun, and then in late 2023 we both quietly noticed we werent looking forward to nights anymore. not a crisis, just... done. talked it out at a kitchen table in galway over tea, agreed to stop, told our closest LS friends, who were lovely about it. that was 18 months ago. we still see those friends, we still talk about the time fondly, our sex life is great. we're not "back to vanilla" really because we're different people now. quitting wasnt a failure for us. it was a season ending well. wanted to say that for anyone wondering if leaving means it was all a mistake. it doesnt...
