the "you OK?" message we send each other after the swap so when we've done a swap and we're in separate rooms or even just separated for a bit on the dancefloor with diff people, we have this rule that we text each other "you ok?" after a bit. just two words. and the other has to reply yes or come find me. been doin this for years and its honestly saved a couple of awkward situations where one of us was ready to bounce but couldnt say it in the moment. anyone else got a check in system like this?? feels essential to the trust thing...
