watching new couples bloom in real time in our local scene is genuinely my favourite thing

weve been in the lifestyle 11 yrs now and one of the quiet joys is watching new couples we've become friendly with go from nervous-on-the-edge-of-the-room to confident-and-having-a-laugh over a year or two. theres a couple from sheffield we met when they were brand new... terrified, holding each others hands like rafts. ran into them last weekend and they were thriving, glowing, owning the room. she came over and hugged me and said "you and your husband made our first night feel safe and we never forgot it." can we just talk about this side of the scene more... the way we get to be part of each others becoming...
