we negotiate like we're running a tech rehearsal, is that weird

so me n my husband both work in theatre, im a director he's a designer, we're very used to running production meetings, blocking, beats, intentions... we've realised our pre-play negotiation w other couples sounds Exactly like a tech run thru lol, "ok so the scene begins w drinks here, transitions to bedroom around 11, hard cue on safewords, blackout at 1am, debrief sunday brunch"... last couple in dublin said it was the most thorough convo they'd ever had n also "kind of intense"... is this a theatre-brain thing? does anyone else find their day job leaks into how they ls? bc honestly i love it n it makes me feel safe but im aware not everyone wants a stage manager running their swing
