we said we'll just try one night... that was 4 years and 60+ nights ago

famous last words right? we told ourselves and each other 'one night, see how it feels, no obligation to ever do it again'. that was january 2022 in a hotel near liverpool. by march we'd been to a club. by june we had a regular couple we played with monthly. by year 2 we'd been to 3 events abroad. now in year 4 and ENM is just... part of our life. did anyone else say 'just one night' and end up here too. or were there ppl who genuinely tried it once and stopped. curious about the just one night to forever pipeline... how universal is this story
