we watch other couples have sex but never actually join in... is this a real lifestyle thing

M39 / F37, ls about 14 months, we're the weird ones in our friend group bc we go to clubs and parties and we love same-room energy but we have never actually swapped. soft or full. nothing. with anyone. basically we go in, find a couple we click with, end up in a same-room scenario, and we just... do our own thing while they do theirs. sometimes a hand brushes, sometimes we kiss the other woman/man briefly, but we have never actually had sex with anyone but each other in 14 months of being in the lifestyle. it's great honestly. our sex life is the best it's ever been. the watching, the proximity, the shared experience after, all of it is enough for us. but every time we describe what we do to other ls couples they get confused. like "so... what do you do then" and "thats not really swinging is it". is what we do actually a thing with a name. are we voyeur/exhibitionist couples masquerading as swingers. should we be honest in our profile that we're same-room-only-no-swap. do other people do this longterm or do they all eventually swap. and is it weird that we feel more bonded by watching together than by actually swapping with anyone
