okay buckle up bc this is the post i needed to read four years ago. the LS taught us how to actually TALK. not the fake we-talk-about-everything talk we did before, where we were both editing. real talk. i had to learn to say the thing my brain didnt want me to say because if i didnt say it before a play night it'd come out sideways at 2am in a hotel corridor. we learned how to be jealous out loud instead of poisoning each other quietly. we learned the difference between insecure and not-into-this. we learned aftercare is also for the marriage not just the play. honestly it's the best couples therapy weve ever done and we paid for the actual therapy too lol...
