whats your take on the "say something dirty in your language" request mid-play
genuine question for the multilingual side of the room cause we're a mixed-language couple (im dutch, partner is irish, we live in london, both late 30s) and i've had this request enough times now that i wanna know if there's a consensus or if everyone just deals with it their own way. usually goes like this. play is heating up, im with another bloke, and at some point he goes "say something in dutch... something filthy". every time. and ive never quite figured out how to handle it. the choices feel like... do the party trick and feel weird about it, say something tame and pretend its filthy and laugh it off, refuse and kill the mood, or actually say something properly dirty in dutch and have him not understand a word of it which kinda defeats the point. partner thinks i should just have a go-to phrase ready, like a stock answer. but that feels even more performance-y to me. and the thing is in english i can be filthy as anything, im not shy about that, its only when it has to be in dutch FOR HIS BENEFIT that it goes weird. how do you all play this. is it always cringe or have you found a way to make it actually hot.
