"young at heart" couples vs "we look our age" couples... which finds it easier in the LS

observation question from a 56yo. weve got 2 sets of LS friends both our age abouts. couple A is "young at heart" - dye their hair, dress younger, super into trends, claim to feel 35. couple B looks their age, grey, dresses age-appropriate, talks abt being mid-50s openly. couple A struggles way more in the LS, weirdly. couple B has a strong circle and gets play easily. is this a pattern others have noticed... is trying to seem younger actually counterproductive past a certain point. genuinely curious abt others observations
